Now it's time to get YOUR photo seen by all the important people in Boston!

AGENT                                    VS.                              FREELANCING

You have two options: You can try to get an agent or stick to freelancing.

If you are interested in getting an agent, you will need 4 things.

One: That picture you took- your HEADSHOT
Two: A nice typed of resume of your basic info (hair color, height, etc.), experience, and skills. If you can play an insturment put that on there!
Three: A neat cover letter, introducing yourself and tell them why you are writing.
        Example:
Hi! My name is X X and I am a 15 year old actress in the Boston area. I love the stage and have been acting for 5 years. I am looking for repersentation for all talent related projects. Enclosed is my headshot and resume. Thanks for your time and consideration!

Then sign you name. Make sure your letter follows the buisness style for cover letters. A parent should know that.
Four: The agent's address. Below is a list of 5 agencies that accept kids. *Make sure you check out their websites if available and get familiar with their client list and specific submtion rules*

So, this is what will happen if you decide not to get an agent.

Your going to send that same package to Boston CDs that is listed in the other colunm. All you have to change is the cover letter because remember YOU ARE NOT ASKING FOR REPERSENTATION, but merely to be considered for: A) A specific role that you may know about, or B) To be kept on file for upcoming projects. Below is a list of some CDs in Boston. Remember if called about an audition, it will most likely always be taking place at the Casting Director's office. NEVER GO WITHOUT A PARENT!
