So, you know you want to act. What's next?

Welcome to Act Safely!

The web site was created in the hopes of educating young actors about show business, in particular the Boston industry. On this site you will find information about local agents, headshots, and most importantly, learn to detect warning signs of modeling and acting scams.

Words of Wisdom:
"Making it" in show business is primarily luck--being in the right place at the right time. There are ways to greaten your chance of that happening through networking, working in the non-professional world, and getting an agent. Show business is mostly rejection.
